John Gunner

John Gunner BSc (Hons) LLM

Director and Principal Mediator at InterMediation.  Trained Workplace Mediator, Accredited and Certified Civil and Commercial Mediator and one of only a few International EU Cross-Border Mediators recognised in Brussels.  John is also highly-experienced in resolving Court-referred disputes and schemes for Tescos and the Metropolitan Police.  Community Mediator featured on TV and Trustee of Mediation Hertfordshire.  Former In-house Counsel responsible for HR.

Arran Elkeles

Arran Elkeles MA Ch.FICIPD

Arran is qualified as a barrister and has a Master degree in law and sociology She is a chartered fellow of the CIPD and a CEDR accredited Mediator.  Arran has worked in the public and private sectors in roles ranging from Government lawyer to HR Director, including Personnel Director at the Building Research Establishment. She is an experienced trainer and specialises in workplace, community and commercial mediation.  Arran also sits on Employment Tribunals and carries out disciplinary, grievance and other workplace investigations for employers and acts as an independent chair for disciplinary and grievance meetings and appeals.

Macarena Mata PhD MSc

Qualified Trainer and Workplace, Family and Community Mediator with deep experience in conflict transformation, resolution and personal growth.  OCN Accredited Workplace Trainer, school peer mediation trainer and self-awareness Coach for executives, community groups, academics.  Lectures conflict practitioners to Masters level at Birkbeck College, London and fluent in Spanish.

Penelope Overton

Penelope Overton MA (Oxon)  MA (Birkbeck)  qualified as a solicitor in 1988.  After a private practice, she spent most of her career working for trade unions and employers’ associations, specialising in employment law, contract, negligence, and discrimination cases.  She is an experienced  mediator, having successfully mediated a wide variety of workplace, community and commercial disputes.   Penelope has also trained organisations in workplace mediation skills and has delivered peer mediation training in a number of schools.  She is also trained in restorative justice techniques and the principles of Non Violent Communication.

Gill has over 20 years HR, Coaching and Change Management with blue chip companies having formerly worked in management for BT, HR Development Director for AT&T-Unisource and Princpal Consultant at PwC.  Chartered CIPD Member and CEDR Accredited Mediator she is also qualified in psychometric tools including MBTI, OPQ, SDI and Facet 5.

Janine Edge MA(CANTAB), MSc

Workplace and Civil Mediator, former corporate finance partner at law firm Slaughter and May and head of its Financial Services Unit.  General Commissioner of Taxes until 2000.  Visiting fellow in organisational psychology, Nottingham Law School and lecturer on its MBA in Legal Practice. She has also lectured on MSc in Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology and carried out research in neuroscience with Imperial College.  Trainer for LawWorks.
